WHERE
COLLIDE
Eileen Kathryn Boyd designs with an artist’s instinct and an architect’s eye, approaching every space through the full spectrum of the senses. Color is her first language—a lens through which mood, memory, and materiality are interpreted. She doesn’t just decorate—she composes. Every decision is a gesture of emotion and energy, from the rustle of silk curtains to the rhythm of natural light. Her training in architecture refined her view of form as function, allowing her to choreograph rooms that not only look good but also feel as good as they look.
At the heart of Eileen Kathryn Boyd Interiors is a belief that design should spark joy and stir the soul. With a painterly use of color and a deep respect for materiality, Eileen creates spaces that are artful, uplifting, and wholly personal.
Her interiors aren’t just styled—they’re composed with care, where every shade, surface, and silhouette has its place and purpose. Rooted in a collaborative spirit, the firm has fostered longstanding relationships with artisans, ateliers, and master craftspeople around the world—bringing one-of-a-kind objects, textiles, and furnishings into the homes of a discerning global clientele.
INTERIORS
Eileen’s interiors are couture in every sense—infused with imagination and executed with exacting detail. Inspired equally by the natural world and the fashion runway, her spaces are brought to life through expressive juxtapositions and unexpected flourishes. Whether it’s a floral motif borrowed from a botanical garden or trim inspired by a Parisian gown, every room is layered, lush, and alive. From custom embroidery on a velvet pillow to a structural ceiling detail that anchors the space, no element is overlooked—her work is as much about precision as it is about poetry.
SHOPPE HOUSE
Ten Easy Street is Eileen Kathryn Boyd’s latest—and perhaps most personal—creative venture. A hybrid concept house, showroom, and cultural hub located on Nantucket’s most storied stretch, it serves as both a stage and a sanctuary for high design. Here, fashion, interiors, and lifestyle intersect in a rotating curation of color-forward brands, vintage finds, and artisan-crafted pieces. With an editorial sensibility and a product-forward point of view, the experience extends online through a commerce platform that offers access to Eileen’s signature style—no plane ticket required.
ABOUT EILEEN
Step into any space designed by Eileen Kathryn Boyd and you’ll feel it immediately—A fashion-forward sensibility that transforms interiors into living editorials. It might be the stitching on a jacket reimagined as the edge of a drapery panel, or an exposed zipper on a dress echoed in the detailing of a bespoke slipcover. If there’s a way to translate couture into interiors, Eileen will find it—and make it sing. With a career that began at Falcon Jet designing private aircraft interiors, her return to aviation through a collaboration with Slate Aviation is more than fitting—it’s a full-circle moment. Eileen’s work is marked by her signature layering of color, pattern, and texture, drawing inspiration from far-reaching sources: Nature, music, museums, and her insatiable wanderlust. But more often than not, you’ll find her poring over the pages of fashion magazines, searching for the kind of unexpected color pairings and fabric juxtapositions that spark her most daring ideas.
Formally trained at Rhode Island School of Design, Parsons School of Design, and the American College in Paris, Eileen blends artistic intuition with a deeply technical eye. Her résumé includes two fabric lines for Duralee and a seat at the table in the industry’s most revered circles—from The Decorators Club and The National Arts Club to ASID and the Huntington Arts Council, where she remains an active board member. For more than four decades, Eileen has also called Nantucket her second home, and her work through Ten Easy Street reflects that personal connection—curating a vibrant mix of local makers and bespoke brands that have become woven into the island’s creative fabric. Her interiors—whether in multimillion-dollar estates across New York or intimate island retreats—are always dressed to impress—joyful, expressive, and meticulously tailored for the most discerning clientele.
